The Nurse Director of Emergency Room and Trauma will work with a hospital that was recently named a Top Performer in Key Quality Measures by the Joint Commission.
The Emergency Department ED Nurse Director will have access to new state-of-the-art facility that brings together technology and sophisticated design in a LEED-certified sustainable and seismically-safe building.
The Emergency Services and Trauma Nurse Director will report to the Chief Nurse Executive of the hospital and be supported by Nurse Managers and Charge Nurses in both departments.
The busy 50 bed Emergency Room sees approximately 60,000 annual visits.
Because the hospital is a certified chest pain center, a number of beds are equipped with the latest in heart monitoring technology.
The Nurse Director of Emergency Department ED and Trauma will be responsible for strategic planning, budget management, program development, policies and procedures implementation, performance improvement and compliance in both departments.
The Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER will also collaborate with other Nursing Directors, Ancillary Directors, Nursing Administration and Physician in variety of committees in the hospital.
The Emergency Room ER and Trauma Nursing Director will work in a regional Level II Trauma Center that has been providing care to the community for over 100 years and is now a part of a larger non profit health system, thus providing it with stability and the latest in technological resources.
