Video Production Specialist

VIDEO PRODUCTION SPECIALIST
Mad Dogg Athletics is looking for a creative video editor/producer with camera, lighting, sound, and motion graphic skills to fill an immediate opening. This person will also be assisting with digital photography. The right candidate will be a well-organized, self-starter who can deliver a visual product that captures and embodies the essence of the Mad Dogg Athletics house of brands. Their skills and abilities will allow them to communicate at all levels within the organization, our customer base, and most importantly - the world of fitness enthusiasts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Shooting and editing videos for web, events, and consumer media
Finalizing and delivering completed video projects
Searching for and utilizing in-house imagery/footage as well as stock imagery from online sources
Creating graphics using Adobe Creative Suite
Green-screen and digital compositing
Coordinating production activity to meet the goals and deadlines of the affected teams and departments
EXPECTATIONS & ABILITIES:
Ability to compose shot lists and storyboards as needed
Ability to light scenes, shoot video, edit, and produce a final project
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and switch between tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to take and give direction
Ability to manage and communicate project status with related department heads
Ability to work flexible hours as needed or required
Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Media Studies, or related field preferred, Associate's degree is also acceptable
Minimum of 1-year experience with scene setup, lighting, digital camera operation, and editing
1 to 2 years of practical fieldwork is preferred; includes internships and school projects
Proficiency with editing software (particularly Final Cut 7 and Adobe Premier Pro)
Proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Computer literate in Mac and PC environments
A working knowledge of compression standards including web optimization
Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented
Must have a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate with coworkers
A creative eye and willingness to present and produce new ideas
Experience and knowledge of the fitness industry is not required, but it could be a big plus!
Please note that a reel of your work will be required if you are called in for an interview.
Status: Full Time Employee
Compensation: $29K to 32K DOE

Location: Venice, CAEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
