Sales Planning Analyst
(reports to Senior Manager, Planning)
?Support Senior Manager, Planning in demand planning and forecasting by creating and managing top-down and bottom-up finished goods and sales plans while ensuring the ongoing accuracy and consistency of all plans, revisions, and projections developed.
?Manage monthly SKU-level global forecasting process by synthesizing and analyzing data from various sources to identify and action against trends/issues; update and maintain internal retail sales and wholesale shipment data sources in supporting this process.
?Analyze historical sales data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities in plan; collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure plans and forecasts align with future financial and product opportunities.
?Recap, analyze, and report to relevant stakeholders sales results, such as weekly retail sales, monthly wholesale shipments, retail sales by SKU, mix of business, best sellers, and new product performance.
?Support the retail and wholesale budgeting and forecasting process by liaising with US and international sales teams to update and track department performance to plan.
?Manage, track, and communicate both allocations and gratis requests to support inventory merchandise strategy for newness, events, and promotions.
?Evaluate and create processes and tools in support of continuous improvement efforts to support the planning process.
?Produce and analyze ad-hoc and/or ongoing reporting as needed.
?A wealth of experience in the planning function within the sales operations umbrella of a growing brand.
?A holistic and cross-functional understanding of the beauty industry beyond sales: from product development to e-commerce, marketing to visual merchandising.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
