Operations Manager - GSOC

Drive the vision and execution of building a world-class cross-functional operations team
Manage the global function of a 24 x 7 Operations Center, providing direct supervision and leadership to the team
Provide supervisory level responsibility managing the day-to-day BAU tasks and activities during a given work-shift period
Develop services or programs that support other teams at Bird, including security, engineering, operations, global user operations
Be a motivator for the team and provide leadership during crisis and response situations
Monitor and enforce all policies, standards and procedures for the GSOC
Utilize tools, internal tracking metrics, and other reports to generate KPI reports for internal use in order to identify operational and process improvement opportunities
Communicate with key players on operational issues, handle escalations, and notify senior management of high severity and chronic network or security issues
Facilitate the flow of information around security incidents and intelligence to senior leadership, security management, key partners, and affected personnel
Develop KPI's and metrics to measure and report on organizational and operational effectiveness
What You'll Need:
Must have direct experience working within a GSOC, GNOC or similar 24x7 communications hub
Demonstrated knowledge of business continuity and crisis management principles
Proven leadership and team building experience, and executive communications
Must be able to handle high-impact situations and remain effective under pressure
Proven ability to guide others to deliver outstanding results in a timely manner using a strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail
Willing to work irregular hours and be "on call" in support of 24/7 evolving security and crisis events

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
