Accountemps is looking for a Senior Accountant for a short term temporary opportunity with a growing company in the IT Software industry. Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and SOX testing - Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics) - Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners - Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP - Other projects as necessary - Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Ready monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
- Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner - Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines - Strong organization skills - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired - Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions - QuickBooks experience - Deep understanding of accounts receivable - Foundational knowledge in journal entries - Expertise in accounts payable - Experience with payroll - Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required - Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity - Prior work done in public accounting is desired - Experience with ERP systems - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges - SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience - Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates - Please send resumes to Click Here to Email Your Resum?

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
